André 3000's song "I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a 'Rap' Album but This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time" is the longest-ever song to chart on Billboard's Hot 100.
The song is 12 minutes and 20 seconds long, compared to the average three-minute runtime of 2023's Top 10 hits so far.
André 3000 took the title from Tool, whose song "Fear Inoculum" was 10 minutes and 21 seconds long and peaked at No. 93 in 2019. [ more ]
